SceneLoft includes carefully selected open-source components. Their authors retain their respective rights.
FFmpeg
The macOS application includes standalone FFmpeg and FFprobe executables configured under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or later. GPL and nonfree build options are disabled. SceneLoft invokes these programs as external processes and does not link its executable to FFmpeg libraries.
The application bundle includes the exact FFmpeg source archive used to build the executables, its LGPL text, the complete configure options, checksums and the build recipe. The matching upstream source is also available from FFmpeg.
libvpx
WebM/VP9 export uses libvpx 1.17.0 under its BSD-style licence and patent grant. The exact source archive, licence, patent notice and build configuration are included in the application bundle. The matching release is also available from the official libvpx repository.
Source and written requests
The in-app archives are the corresponding source for the distributed codec executables. If you cannot retrieve them from your installed copy, contact us through the address on the legal and privacy page and identify your SceneLoft version.
